We have cooperated with International Basketball Federation since the year 2016. In 2019 the Women’s Basketball European Championship took place in our homeland, the Czech Republic, so we were really happy when we were chosen as a broadcaster of this event. We were streaming from two places simultaneously, as the championship was split between two stadiums both located in Klatovy, a city 140 km southwest of Prague.
We were using 5 cameras at each stadium and managed to cover all four matches each day. This was the first time we used our brand new BMD URSA cameras with amazing Fujinon lenses. That was a really giant technical leap for us, that’s one of the reasons why we enjoyed this event so much.
For the score, precise timing, and statistics data we used the interconnection of our CG system with the official FIBA scoring system.
