During the 2021 season, PLAYO Production expanded its cooperation with the European Cricket Network and Spring Media, providing live broadcast production for a series of international cricket events across Europe.
Over the course of the season, our crews and mobile production systems travelled between the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Croatia, delivering broadcasts from a variety of cricket grounds and venues.
In total, PLAYO Production produced more than 300 hours of live cricket coverage during the season. The projects included the FanCode European Cricket Series in Prague and Split, the Germany Tri-Nations T20I Series in Krefeld, as well as the Italian T20 Finals and FanCode ECS T10 Super Series in Rome.
Each event required a flexible mobile broadcast setup capable of being deployed quickly at different venues and adapted to local conditions while maintaining a consistent production workflow and broadcast standard.
The 2021 cricket season became one of our most extensive multi-country production projects of the year and further demonstrated our ability to deploy crews and broadcast technology efficiently across Europe.
