The 11th Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships brought 15 national teams to Brno, Czech Republic, for five days of international competition at Vodova Arena.
PLAYO Production served as the official Host Broadcaster for the championship, providing the international world feed for the International Floorball Federation (IFF).
The tournament was played simultaneously on two courts within the venue. PLAYO Production covered both competition areas using two independent production setups, with our flight-pack system deployed for the second court.
Our team provided the complete live broadcast workflow throughout the championship, including multi-camera production, live directing, instant replay, graphics, audio and delivery of the final programme feeds. Selected matches were also broadcast by Czech Television, while the tournament was distributed internationally through IFF platforms.
The championship culminated in a dramatic final between the Czech Republic and Finland. In front of the home crowd in Brno, the Czech team won 4–3 with the decisive goal scored in the final minutes, securing its second consecutive Men’s U19 World Championship title.
Serving as Host Broadcaster for an international championship with two courts operating in parallel was another important milestone for PLAYO Production and demonstrated our ability to deliver simultaneous multi-venue broadcast operations for a global sports federation.
